Youth Voices of Change

The Santa Clara County Youth Task Force is a representative body of 16 eighth—through 12th-grade students. Its mission is to provide an opportunity for youth to have a formal role and voice in the local decision-making and policies of government agencies, such as the Board of Supervisors and community organizations, on matters related to youth.

April is Second Chance Month

The County of Santa Clara joins in celebrating Second Chance Month in April. This campaign, originally launched in 2017, is a nationwide effort to raise awareness and improve perceptions of people with a criminal record, encourage second-chance opportunities, and drive policy change to help formerly incarcerated individuals in their reentry journey. We believe in Second Chances!
